• Competed for Cambridge University Karate Club 1998-2001 while training with the Japan Karate Association (JKA)/Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB), headed by Keinosuke Enoeda (9th Dan JKA).
• Achieved 1st Dan black belt in 2001.
• Began training at Sobell Karate Club (ISKF UK Headquarters) in 2001.
• Achieved 2nd Dan black belt in 2005. Examiners: Masaaki Ueki (10th Dan JKA), Tomio Imamura (8th Dan JKA) and Yoshinobu Ohta (8th Dan JKA).
• Achieved 3rd Dan black belt in 2010. Examiners: Yutaka Yaguchi (9th Dan ISKF) and Ahcene Moussaoui (8th Dan ISKF).
• Represented ISKF UK at the 2018 ISKF European Championship in Berlin.
• Achieved 4th Dan black belt in 2018. Examiners: Hiroyoshi Okazaki (9th Dan ISKF) and Ahcene Moussaoui (8th Dan ISKF).
• Over 20 years' experience teaching karate to adults and children.
