CONGRATULATIONS to all members of Hampstead Karate Club who took part in the annual ISKF competition at Sobell Leisure Centre in Finsbury Park!
Our successes included the following:
- 2nd place - adult individual kata
- 3rd place - adult individual kata
- 3rd place - adult individual kumite (7th kyu to 1st kyu)
- 2nd place - boys and girls under 10s kumite (10th kyu to 8th kyu)
- 2nd place - boys and girls under 10s kumite (7th kyu to 1st kyu)
A haul of six medals was a fantastic achievement considering that it was the first competition for everyone involved. Those who missed out on medals this time round showed excellent spirit and character.
